What Matters MOST After a Holiday Meal.

I started typing this out and didn’t think it did this topic any justice.

I was going to record a video but at 30 weeks pregnant with construction happening in our house, the power out and no hot water, I haven’t showered yet today and am sparing you this visual of me in my robe typing this post from bed. Hey, WFH is not so bad! So next best thing? Listen up. This is a quickie and something so so important.

Everyone puts so much pressure and emphasis on the holiday meal.

We fear the holiday meal.

We create STRESS around the holiday meal.

But honestly. The holiday meal itself is meaningless.

I hope you eat all the things you want. I hope you stay present, I hope you enjoy and remember EVERY conversation you have at that holiday.

And I hope you remember three things:

  1. Time is something we can never get back. USE IT WISELY and ENJOY IT.

  2. What you decide to do NEXT after the “moment of impact or fear” matters the absolute MOST.

  3. You are meant to eat more on a holiday, stay present, stay in your body, slow down and make the goal to enjoy the foods you choose, knowing that tomorrow - if you want them, they are going to be available for you as well.

And overall.

Please stay safe this year especially.
