Morning Glow Mocktail Recipe

If there is one thing I love, it’s sleep. If there are two things I love it’s sleep and a cute, fun mocktail with benefits. So when the Tart Cherry Industry #sponsored asked me to team up to create a morning version of the #sleepygirlmocktail due to the latest research that shows the benefits of including a morning pour of tart cherry juice on sleep, I literally squealed with excitement.

Preliminary scientific research has been conducted on tart cherries, one of the few natural food sources of melatonin, the sleep hormone that regulates the body’s circadian rhythm and sleep-wake cycle. In the research, participants drank two 8-oz glasses of tart cherry juice, one in the morning and one at night. The research explored the quality and duration of sleep, insomnia and sleep efficiency with positive outcomes noted. It’s very exciting.

So to add this morning 8 ounces in I created the #morningglowmocktail

✨ Here’s how you can make it too ✨

🍒 8 oz tart cherry juice

🥥 4 oz coconut water

🫚 1-2 cubes frozen ginger

🧃 squeeze lime juice

🧊 Ice + cute glass to make it fun!

If you can’t find pre made frozen ginger cubes, you can make your own but buying ginger root, cleaning it up and chopping it into smaller pieces, then add to a food processor to blend until it’s smooth and freeze in an ice cube tray!

It’s #bettersleepmonth so make sure you tag me when you try and let me know how you sleep! #ustartcherries
