Intuitive Eating Books for Kids

If you’re finding yourself here at the HSH blog you may be familiar with our weight-neutral approach to nourishment and health. Much of what individuals know and believe about their bodies and diet culture are learned behaviors, and you may be able to pinpoint specific points in your life that have shaped the way you think about food, dieting, etc. It’s hard work to unlearn behaviors and maybe there’s a little one in your life that you’re trying to ensure doesn’t have to endure what you did.  You may want to help them work through that early stage of picky eating or maybe you’re just looking for ways to engage your favorite little foodie.

Either way, below is a list that is, while not exhaustive, a great starting point for kid-friendly books on food neutrality and health.

No one at HSH has any affiliation with any of these but we hope you enjoy!
