Shrimp & Lemon Pasta.

The BEST Shrimp and Lemon Pasta YOU WILL EVER MAKE.

PERIOD.

I am so excited to share this dish with you because it is one that my mom has made for YEARS.

Pasta was always on our table for our Sunday night dinners, and this is one of those meals that truly holds so many memories for me.

So which pasta choice is the best?!

There is no right answer to that question.

It depends on what you personally enjoy best and what leaves you feeling happy and satisfied.

For me, this can change every day!

And a key thing to think on when making this decision is the INTENTION behind the choice. Are you picking the bean pasta ONLY because it’s "perceived” to be “healthier” or because you actually really like it!? Or on the flip side are you choosing the regular pasta to be “bad and have a cheat day” or because you know you love it and enjoy it and this is your choice!? Tough questions, but we love to ask them so you THINK, LEARN and GROW!

On this particular day when preparing this I used Barilla Protein Plus. It is a great option to add some extra fiber and protein for those who are not looking for a beany taste. It is made with semolina flour like regular pasta but has added protein in it which is awesome for that full factor!

Nine out of ten times no one will even notice the difference too! Feel free to play around here!

Here, we have mixed in arugula instead of spinach as well as broccoli and they both work great! Add any veggies you want and love to it!

Another great option to add in is some white wine for an added flavor kick!

BUT! The one thing that is not optional, for me at least, is a good shake of parmesan cheese on top!!

ENJOY!
